About Maison Majdou

Maison Majdou is an independent design label founded in 2024 by tech reject turned designer, Majdou Lavoie. Stifled creativity and boredom with corporate norms and expectations inspired the debut collection, Unwrapped, which showed on the runway during NYFW in September 2025.

Centered on craft, experimentation, and the quiet rebellion of wearing something differently, the brand is driven by an obsession with construction, tailoring, material, and a desire to subvert traditional symbols of dress. Each collection begins with a concept, then unravels through form, fabrication, and fit.

Maison Majdou operates outside the fashion calendar, producing garments slowly and intentionally. Pieces are handmade, often singular, and designed to exist as both clothing and object.

This is not trend-driven fashion. It is clothing with point of view.

PROCESS / CRAFT

Every Maison Majdou piece is crafted by hand in limited quantities or as a true one-of-one.

Some designs are made to order, produced specifically for the wearer. Others exist as singular garments - once sold, they will never be recreated.

Time, intention, and construction are part of each garment.
