At Maison Majdou, certain garments are produced as made-to-order. This means your piece is constructed specifically for you after purchase — not pulled from existing inventory.

Made-to-order allows us to work slowly, responsibly, and with precision — minimizing waste while preserving the integrity of handmade construction. Every stitch, seam, and structural detail is executed with intention.

What Made-to-Order Means

    •    Your garment is not pre-stocked.

    •    Production begins after checkout.

    •    Each piece is cut, constructed, and finished by hand.

    •    Slight variations may occur — these are part of the handmade character.

Production Timeline

Estimated production timelines are listed on each product page. These estimates may differ depending on material availability, custom fit or pattern alterations, and other production variations.

This timeline begins once payment is processed and all sizing details (if applicable) are confirmed.

You will receive:

    1.    An order confirmation email

    2.    A production confirmation email (if measurements or details are needed)

    3.    A shipping confirmation with tracking once complete

How to Order

Step 1: Select your size

Choose your standard size from the dropdown menu. If the garment allows for customization or adjusted measurements, instructions will be listed on the product page.

Step 2: Add to Cart

Complete checkout as usual.

Step 3: Measurement Confirmation (If Required)

For certain garments, we may contact you within 48 hours to confirm:

    •    Measurements

    •    Fit preference

    •    Any construction notes

Prompt responses help avoid production delays.

Step 4: Production Begins

Once confirmed, your garment enters production.

Custom Fit & Adjustments

Some pieces allow for minor fit adjustments. If available, this will be stated on the product page.

All customization requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase.

After production begins, changes cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not started.

After 24 hours, materials may have already been cut and construction begun. In these cases, orders become final sale.

Shipping

Once production is complete, your garment will ship via tracked delivery. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

International customers are responsible for customs duties and import fees.
